Free Ping test
A ping test determines whether your computer can communicate with another computer over the network. Then, if network communication is established, ping tests also determine the connection latency (technical term for delay) between the two computers.
From hundreds of websites which test yours site ping, I’ve selected five tools, the most useful for you.
Iweb Tool Ping Test. All you gotta do is to enter a domain name, Click “Go!” button and the tool will result with the speed of the ping.
Pingdom Tools offers a full page ping test. Test the ping for total loading time (the total time it takes to load the page including all objects), total objects (the total number of objects loaded that are related to the page) and external objects (the total number of objects from external domains). The Full Page Ping Test loads a complete HTML page including all objects (images, CSS, JavaScripts, RSS, Flash and frames/iframes). It mimics the way a page is loaded in a web browser. The load time of all objects is shown visually with time bars. You can view the list of objects either in load order or as a hierarchy. The hierarchy view allows you to see which objects are linked to in for example a CSS file. Every test also shows general statistics about the loaded page such as the total number of objects, total load time, and size including all objects.

The ping test tool from searchengineoptimising.com is used to test the presence of an active connection. All you gotta do is to enter up to 10 hostname or IP addresses you would like to ping on the textarea. One host or IP address per line. Hit the ping button to execute the TCP Connectivity Ping. The TCP Connectivity Ping will try to determine whether a host is alive or dead by sending NOOP Command to Common TCP Service (http, ftp, telnet, mail, in that order).
The VisualRoute Server provides a graphical traceroute and ping test from this server to any other network device you choose, useful for pinpointing network connectivity problems and identifying IP address locations.
The PING test checks if a web host or IP address is reachable across the Internet by sending multiple ICMP packets and listening for the replies. The ping test measures the time it takes for the packets to go from the selected testing monitoring location to the host tested. The test results display the shortest, the average and the maximum round-trip times and packet loss rate between hosts.
